Wow, thank you all for the warm reception, it's always nice to know you've been missed! It's real good to be back among friends, both new and old!!

>>> Hey thanks Opie! You're pretty close with your guestimate btw..she's roughly 22-23" tall from the soil line. This particular pheno at least stays pretty short and boxy. This one hardly stretches at all.

>>> Hey Rockster...80+ days flowering time on your Hammer you say? I suppose Itsme could better confirm this for you, but I would think that particular phenotype you have there most likely leans more towards the extreme end of the spectrum as far as flowering times for this hybrid is concerned?
If in your estimation the end product justifies your efforts though, then it's worth it IMHO! Enjoy!!

>>> Hey AngryRob...

Finally got a female C99xNH, and she's a beauty. She's only a week into flower, so I get to wait and wait and wait some more. Her clones are almost rooted now, and I flowered and harvested the male I had from the winter. I cloned him to, just too be on the safe side.

Well, hopefully the finished product will be amply compensate you for your efforts and your patience bro.
Incidently Rob, I should mention not all of the C99 x N.Haze's that I've grown out have been particularly long flowerers. I've had quite a few C99 x N.H individuals now that were showing Amber colored Trichomes as early as 58 days after flowering was initiated, so some do finish well ahead of others.
I should also mention though that the longer flowering, more Haze dominant phenotypes also tend to be the better yielders, and in my opinion at least, some of the best of the lot with respects to other qualities as well.

Regardless, I hope you like it mate! :^)_~

So, what else is in the garden you ask?
Hmm, well Rob it seems to me at the moment I've got 8 or 9 varieties on the go in various stages. Some are old standby's which I've shown here a number of times before, and others which are more recent additions. You'll see some of those in the coming days..

>>> Mr. C...thanks bro, and please allow me to take this opportunity offer a belated congratulations to you on your being appointed a forum moderator. For what it's worth my friend..IMHO at least, they couldn't have selected a more suitable candidate for the task.
A great addition to a truly fine group of moderators!

>>> Hey ICE..thanks to you as well my friend! Since you asked bro, this particular Hammer comes from non-feminized seed. I took cuttings from her and will grow her for at least one more cycle, but I'm still uncertain yet as to how long I'll keep her around. I still have a few Hammer seeds left which I think I'll grow out soon..see what I might find among those remaining?

>>> Herby2...actually this particular Hammer plant is untopped. I rarely if ever top my plants, but from what I've seen Hammer seems to respond quite favorably to it. Perhaps I'll have to give it a try it sometime?

>>> Sirclonealot...personally I'd suggest that you consider starting your Hammer indoors initially, and grow it for a cycle or even two. By then I would think you should have a pretty good indication as to whether or not one or more of them will in fact be suitable for outdoor consideration in your area?
Regardless of what you choose to do I wish you all the very best of luck in that pursuit...and please do keep us posted on your progress!

>>> wcd...can't tell how pleased it makes me to hear you're happy with your C99 x N.Haze so far at least. It is my sincerest wish that it proves to be as kind to you as it has been to me!
Hope to hear more from you as it progresses...good growing to you!!

The plant in the attached photo is another variety I have played around with off and on for a good many years now, and for as long as I can recall now it has been fondly referred to by myself and some others as simply RC's or RC Cola. Regardless of what name it goes by, it's makeup consists some of the oldest genetics in my collection. This particular plant that you see here has been flowering for about 2 weeks. Not the best photo I'm afraid ..perhaps I'll have to post a few more photos of em' sometime? Anyway, I hope you folks like it!?
Peace,

RCcola
